Dateline Jinjiang (no, that's not an ethnic slur, that's the district's name): A fellow wants to suplant his income by turning his flat into a public toilet. The neigbors (unerstandably) want nothing to do with this. The town planning board, however, has other deigns: they're initially okay with the idea: afterall, that particular corner is apparently riddled with feces.
The home owner could theoretically suplant his income by 66 British Sterling pounds (roughly $200 in today's market) a month; not an insignificant ammount by any calculation. What needs to be considered, however, is this:
Is the potential (and literal) stink that could be generated by his plan of capitalistic greed, negated by the untoward impact of his "poo-brothel" on the livelyhood of his neigbbors, really worth the effort?
It's my opinion that it is not. Let the man do whatever the zoning board allows. Happy dumping at Mr. He's place! (send pictures!)
