"Dave in Japan: Toilet Training" is an incredibly detailed guide to pooping in Asia's most prosperous country (and further proof that anyone named "Dave" is automatically a qualified PoopReporter).

While most PoopReporters are aware of the existence of The Squatter, and while a few of us have had opportunity to use them, I doubt that many of us are aware that there are numerous techniques. It's not just stoop-and-poop -- as this site points out, depending on the strength and flexibility of your legs, there are quite a few methods to choose from.
