Get your aquarium toilet tank

Posted 08.09.2004 by Dave
Scott sends in this great product. I'd love to have one. As this site puts it:

"Add a little life to your bathroom with this live aquarium, Aquariass by Oliver Beckert. The fully functioning tank fits American Standard bowls. Custom bowl installation is available. This piece is made to order, so please allow 10-12 weeks for delivery. The Aquariass measures 22" x 14" x 9" deep, 1.6 gpf.(federal standard), 3/8" acrylic tank. Fish and aquarium components sold separately."

What kind of fish would be appropriate in this tank? Goldfish for #1, definitely...

The aquarium would bhe easy to maintain, as the water would be replaced a few times a day. However, I wonder if the upper deck fish will get sucked past the flapper and go into the porceilin lake.

If I had 1,100.00 dollars lying around, I would buy a new tank to replace my 75 gallon. You can get a beautiful 125 gallon set with a cherry wood stand and cover in most pet stores for that.

However, that's really interesting.

What type of fish would be appropriate for a tank like this? Well, let's see:

poohrana
barrapooda
gup-pee
muckerel

That oughta fill up the tank!

I was wondering the same thing, Slim Jim. How do you keep the fish in the tank? Otherwise, I WANT ONE.

Realistically, no fish would survive the water changes. Tap water is usually cholrinated and the cholorine would kill the fish...nevermind how to keep them from being flushed.

You make a good point Poopie G. I didn't think of that but you're right. This is a prime example of why I don't keep tropical fish. Too much work!
