Intelligent Products Inc., of Rabbit Hatch, Kentucky, is
suing its Chicago-based rival Cygany in federal court in Cincinnati, claiming Cygany's
Poopy Pickups infringed on Intellegent's patented pet poop plucking glove.
Intelligent Products makes the
Mutt Mitt, a plastic glove dispensed from pole-mounted boxes along sidewalks and in parks. "We sell them to parks all across the country," said Charlie Hotchkiss, marketing director for Intelligent Products, who wants Cygany to keep its stinking hands out of Intellegent's profit making ass.
