A group of residents in
Bovill, (I kid you not), Idaho kidnapped a herd of cows they blamed for spreading cow-pats in their street. They became so irate that about 50 marched into city hall demanding action. The cows belong to Mr. Hall, a 77-year-old former mayor of Bovill. City Councilman Phil Stradley later confirmed that he and other residents had loaded five of the unbranded cattle onto a truck and taken them to a livestock pen as stray cows. Mr. Hall can claim the penned cattle if he pays $20 a head plus impoundment costs. Mr. Hall says in his defence that other people's cows are also guilty of shitting in Bovill's streets and yards.
