Time-Warner breaks sewage line, floods woman's home

"The toilet backed up, overflowed and soaked the hardwood floors in raw sewage. On a Saturday morning, Olivia Jolly's four-bedroom northwest Houston house was coated in three inches of human waste.

"'There was actual sewage and shit in our bathtub,' Jolly says. 'The water went under the bathtub, soaked through the wall and into the living room. It just spread.'

"Two days before, Time Warner had dug a hole in her backyard and replaced the cable line during a routine repair. A family friend told Jolly that the worker might have hit the sewer line."

There go the yuppies again, screwing everything up.

This story reminds me about the story of the movie stars, not wanting a sewer line through their neighborhood.

Has Time Warner ever heard of "Dig Safe", or blueprints, regarding what services could be burried?

Usually TimeWarner charges a fee to inundate your home with shit via the TV. I wouldn't be surprised if Olivia got a bill from them for it.

being that they are a media corporation... this could be construed as them making news to report... to avoid slow news days... or maybe that's just paranoia
