What's the best way to raise awareness of colon cancer? If you said "build a 40-ft colon for people to run around in," you'd be right, apparently.

"The Colossal Colon is a 40-foot long, four-foot high replica of a human colon. Visitors who crawl through the colon, or look through the viewing windows, will see healthy colon tissue, colon disease, polyps and various stages of colon cancer."

The colon will be touring 20 cities next year, starting in Chapel Hill and ending in NYC. I hope many PoopReporters will get their pictures taken in a giant colon while holding the PoopReport logo... it's just too perfect.
