A newborn baby was taken into protective custody after being found abandoned in a women's toilet at a Nagasaki shopping mall. Police said the baby boy was wrapped in clothing at the time of his discovery. He had been placed on a shelf next to the toilet and was sleeping at the time. He is in good condition. Japanese police are searching for the baby's mother.
