A department store in Germany has fitted electronic alarms to toilet rolls in its restrooms because customers keep stealing them. One manager said he was fed up with having to replace dozens of toilet rolls each day. He commented:"It was not only annoying for us, but uncomfortable for other customers who were left without paper." The alarms will sound if taken out of the store by toilet paper thieves.
