Yet another case of "cat hoarding"...it's very common. Some people "collect" animals and don't clean up after them and just let them marinate in their own feces and urine. If you ever watch Animal Planet's "Animal Cops", they sometimes bust cat hoarders and there are hundreds of cats in these houses that get taken to the shelters.

People that do this to animals thould not be allowed to have an animal, ever again.

If these people "love" animals so much, why do they put the animal's welfare in harms way?

This is the sort of thing you fear whenever you hear about a 'Cat Lady' who lives in your neighborhood. You hope that nothing horrendous like this is going on.

I had neighbors like this growing up. They never, not even once, cleaned their house. In it they had 5 dogs, 17 cats, 2 chickens, a snake, and a shitload of bunnies.

Sometimes when we would walk in it would smell like death and they would comment on how the snake probably killed one of the bunnies again. No one ever called the authorities as far as I know.
