Dear Dave:

I am on kitchen crew for a week long retreat at our Zen Center--5 am in the the morning to 9 pm at night. We do the 5 am sitting meditation with the gang, then do the day's cooking, and join them again for two more periods of sitting meditation in the evening. So I will have a week's worth of new, exciting poopreport.com to look forward to.

Must mention that in our Zen lineage, when someone is promoted to head monk (quite an honor) they are automatically given the job of cleaning the toilets. In a real monastery in the country, the head monk is in charge of the compost heap and the shitters. This is a traditional safeguard against arrogance. Too bad we don't have the equivalent for certain high government officials...will be back December 14th.
