A homeowner whose property was flooded with sewage 15 months ago has slammed Thames Water for failing to repair his home.

Dennis Barcoo, 47, has not lived in the house in Kings Road, South Norwood, for a year after a pump that Thames Water installed overflowed.

The kitchen units and floor are damaged, the wallpaper is peeling and even the ceiling in his lounge has started to crumble. Personal property, ranging from private documents to electrical tools, were also ruined. Now, after failing in his battle with Thames Water to get his property repaired, Mr Barcoo is considering legal action.
