This is not a scientific mystery. Just read anything about fasting. I fast regularly (when I'm not supporting a young one) and the result, at least for me, is no poop. Fasts of ten days are not impossible.

In extreme survival situations, it is possible for a person to go precisely ten days without drinking anything. So that is also not a mystery.

(Interestingly enough, you can only go three or four days without sleep before falling over dead.)

The idea that he did this for 68 years is probably a hoax.

A ten day fast is certainly possible. The body can go without water for about a week, and food for a few months.

You can read about Devraha Baba, who was 250+ years old when he finally died. He was apparently quite the fibber when it came to his age, claiming to be 700 when his family tree showed he wasn't a day over 260. (I assume he got tired of being carded when he went to the liquor store every 50 years or so.) Yes, he was from India. Did you need to ask?
He apparently said in an interview that he credited a life of quiet contemplation and abstention from alcohol for his long life. During the interview, a loud racket came from somewhere in Mr. Baba's house and he told the interviewer, "Think nothing of it. That's just my Dad. He always gets that way when he's drunk."

Sorry, but I'm still going to have to agree and raise the bullshit flag on this one. Humans cannot live that long without having something to eat. You can't believe everything you read on the Internet. Some people go to great lengths just to make things all official-looking and convincing.

Levitation is simply an illusion. All you have to do is stand at the right angle and lift yourself up, balancing on your left heel. For the camera, invisible cables are used to lift the person higher. A crew member wearing the same type of clothing as a member of the previously recorded crowd stands in front of the camera to make it look like he is going that high in front of the crowd.

BCB (and everyone else), I wish you luck in getting rich or achieving any of your other dreams (and I'm not being sarcastic here). But as far as things like these, I won't believe them until I see it for myself, live, in person.

I thought if you didn't eat, your body eats itself until well you die.(ex. anorexia)

TSV I don't think it's true that if you don't sleep for three or four days, you'll die. I have insomnia (slow sleeper)as well if I am really stressed I can't sleep at all. The longest I have gone without any sleep was 130 hours(almost 5 1/2 days)Then again maybe my body is used to going without sleep, I have been this way all my life. No wonder my mom doesn't like to talk about when I was a baby.

Ghost light. A person can easily go three of four days with out sleeping. Truck drivers do this often, and that is what causes many accidents.

They didn't say if those 68 years were human years. I guess people will do anything to bullshit the public.
