troubles on long nursing shifts?

Posted 04.20.2004 by Poonurse (1313)
Ady asks:

Have you ever had experience of nurses struggling to hold BM's in during long shifts? Have you personally worked through a shift when you've been bursting to go for a poo and had to fight to hold it in -- or lost the battle?

Dear Ady,

Thanks for being so concerned for my poop welfare! How nice!

The answers to your questions:

  1. No.
  2. No.

Thanks for asking Poonurse!

Please be advised that I am only a Poonurse. I am NOT a medical doctor. Any advice I give should be taken moderate skepticism. Please consult a REAL medical doctor if you feel you have a serious medical condition.

Poonurse is an RN with 25 years experience in labor and delivery. Her qualifications include seeing a lot of poop, and owning a computer. Also, she works in Michigan, which she calls the asshole of the universe, so that's another bit of credibility. Got a question for her?

poonurse,
I think someone on your shift is pulling your shank.
Damn them.

Whoa! Here's a subject they don't cover on ER.

So there you have it, long shifts, don't result in long shits.
