Ask PoopReport: What To Do With A Serial Clogger

I have a guy friend who, though he eats very healthy and doesn't eat meat, is constantly clogging up toilets. We have gone on several trips this past year, and it is now becoming a problem for the group. Us girls have have suggested to him that he flush halfway through. He's tried it. It doesn't work.

I think it may be a density issue which causes the toilets to clog while he flushes. So is there something I can recommend to him that might help? I tried looking online for something along the lines of stool softeners, but those where always in conjunction with constipation -- which is definitely not the problem. I want to help him before our friends start banning him from coming over!

Can she get a prescription for Cholase? It worked very well for our daughter when she had trouble as a toddler and was afraid to poop after suffering from food poisoning. This, combined with Milk of Magnesia, softened things up enough that she wasn't afraid to poop anymore.

We also had her drink more water and put prune juice in her apple juice, just a bit. Maybe some of these things will help.

Get him a monogrammed drain snake.
With a watertight/airtight carrying case.

For stool softeners, try some foods like beets or pumpkin. Fold in some natural pumpkin into his regular food. You could also take him to the movies and load him up with BLACK licorice. That'll do it.

How about loading him up on "Purplesaurus Rex Kool Aid"? Don't warn him of the possible side effects.
A bright green suprise might send him to the doctor. Remind him to talk about size as well as colour!

Get him a back scratcher and tell him to break up that turd before he tries to flush it!!

We had this same exact problem with our 17 year old son. My husband who is in construction ordered a toilet through Canada. the new restrictions on the toilets made in the USA cause big poopers, with dense poop to stop up the toilet very easily.
the Canadian toilets allow more water and a more powerful flush.
Since installing it, he has not blocked it up once. He is ONLY allowed to go #2 in that toilet....no other in the house.
Trust me...it worked wonders.
