Careful with your Thanksgiving cleanup

Posted 11.23.2005 by Logjam
PoopReport wishes all its US readers a wonderful Thanksgiving on Thursday. And if life is tough and you're searching for something to be thankful for, how about this?

Or this? According to a Reuters news release, a German man fell into bed last week after a night of heavy drinking. When he came to in the morning, he found himself marinating in his own piss. So -- and this will make perfect sense to many men I know -- he switched on his hairdryer to dry the sheets. He left the dryer running on the bed while he went out on an errand (probably to procure more booze). When he got back, his sheets were more than dry: they, along with his house and belongings, were in flames.

So, PoopReporters, be thankful you haven't burned down your house trying to clean up your bodily fluids. Have a wonderful day of family, friends, food, and drink. But above all, let's be careful out there – especially when you’re cleaning up.

Makes me wonder what he would have used to clean up his poop. Probably a backhoe. Makes sense. He would then wash the stains out with a mixture of gas and hydrofluoric acid. Oh well...at least he has another reason to drink. UFB!

I'm thankful I neither got diarrhea nor constipation after the Thanksgiving feast we had.

I am thankful that despite a terrible year, my IBS has given me minimal problems.

This guy sound like he don't have much upstairs. Who in their right mind, would leave a hair dryer running full force on bed sheets?

Even drunk, most people have that much common sense.

It's not nice to fool Mother Nature.

I thought this article was going to touch upon something else when I clicked on it. And that's the issue of food cross-contamination. Handling raw poultry of any kind and then not washing your hands properly as you proceed to other food preparation can result in salmonella contamination.

Rule of thumb: be sure you wash after handling the bird, or you may end up with a mess of a turd.
