OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION:
Scott Tissue is pretty much your plain ole TP. Not too fancy, but it gets the job done. That's as long as the job isn't too juicy. But its ability to last for ever makes up for its lack of goo absorbtion. There is always plenty left on the roll to catch the strays, and you know what I mean.

The free-flowing-rolling-motion is a dream when you've got to get out of the bathroom quickly. Tears are usually even and clean. Scott Tissue isn't rolled so loosely as to pile onto the floor under the holder after a tear, but it doesn't perform well in the TP chase. When the TP hits the floor and rolls away, Scott's free rolling ability becomes a liabilty. You've gotta get up and retrieve it. It's not coming back to you.
SUBJECTIVE REVIEW:
After trying many different TP brands, I think Scott's is the best. It is a little rough, but that roughness is needed to really get a good clean wipe. The price per square foot is excellent for my budget. One roll will last my family for about four to five days depending on whether we've had Mexican or not that week.

Scott very rarely suffers from "rip through". People with long finger nails can relate to this. OW!

This brand isn't what I'd refer to as "facial quality", but it does hold up when folded over for a moderate nose blowing. It can't hold up to the flu.

Scott passes a very important test in this house. You can splash water on Scott's and it will dry in a manner that maintains its usabilty. No fraying. Just a lot of blistering. It doesn't look pretty once it dries, but it still performs it's duties.

This TP also doesn't clog the toilet like those super absorbant brands.
ANY OTHER INFO:
Buy the twelve pack. It's usually the most economical and it stores relatively easily. You also don't have to worry about running out too quickly.
