shit-filled diaper [1] saved the life of a 20-month-old baby boy after he fell 20ft from a window and landed on his butt in Germany. The baby had climbed onto the windowsill while alone in a room and leant against a window whose catch was open. Because Mom had not changed his diaper, he was provided with a soft landing. The diaper, which burst on the impact, had acted like a car airbag. Fortunately, no one was close to the scene of the fall.
