The female headteacher of a New York school has been charged after urinating on the street while her car was stopped at a red light. Evelyn Peralta-Tessitore should have been at work at Public School 192 in Harlem when she was spotted by police in the Bronx.

Officers said she was squatting and urinating beside the open door of her 2003 Mercedes-Benz [1].

The 41-year-old has been charged with drunk driving and resisting arrest, reports the New York Daily News.
