Police had to rescue a Torbrook man after his cat went berserk and trapped him in a bathroom [1] on the weekend. Cathy, a seven-year-old calico, sat outside the bathroom door, snarling and hissing at the man trapped inside.
The cat evaded two RCMP officers before an animal control officer was called to the home, near Greenwood. Ron Sabean has been dealing with animals for 23 years, and says he's never seen a cat focus on one person like that.
