I know there are hundreds of stories of sewer problems across the country, and beyond; however I post this one because it is a 100,000 gallon one! Yikes!

"I want to know how a 100,000 gallons of sewage could get away from somebody," neighbor Ashley Hartesfield said. Hartesfield lives in the area. She didn't know about the problem until Tuesday morning.

"A notice on my door would have been fantastic. With my hours at work I don't get to watch the news. So, I usually find things out after the fact," Hartesfield said.

Many neighbors had the same reaction as Hartesfield. Of course, they already knew about the smell [2].
