An Indian woman who was branded a witch has been forced to eat pig faeces [1], it was reported on Wednesday.

The incident took place in Guna district in the central state of Madhya Pradesh.

The woman, known only as Ratnabai, was accused of casting an evil spell on a one-year-old girl who fell ill and died, the Times of India newspaper reported.
