Hello, I'm fixing to take a enema and I'm going to put Dulcolax in the enema. Is it safe to use as a relaxing enema?
Dear Craig,
Perhaps I am misunderstanding your use of the word "relaxing" in the context of taking an enema. There are better ways to relax, man! Perhaps you mean relaxing your sphincter or something. Whatever.
It really shouldn't be necessary (and may even be harmful) to put Dulcolax in an enema. An enema by itself will clean you out without any help. Dulcolax is meant to be taken orally, or sometimes it is administered in the form of a rectal suppository. But to combine it in an enema?
Overkill, I say.
Please be advised that I am only a Poonurse. I am NOT a medical doctor. Any advice I give should be taken moderate skepticism. Please consult a REAL medical doctor if you feel you have a serious medical condition.
