In Sync: Comparing Our Poop Propensity

It's a very simple question: if people eat the same, will they crap the same?

It started when AssBlaster2000 [1], an uberpooper and regular forums contributor, noted:

I have only ever shat once a day or even every other day, and I eat a lot for a woman. My turds are usually 6" long and 1-2" in diameter. Is this a small amount of shit or do I just have a slow metabolism? Before coming to PoopReport, I never even heard of people taking a shit multiple times a day on a regular basis. Who is normal? Why, besides amount and quality of diet, do some people shit more than others?

Maybe we should do a poop experiment. Have someone who shits only once a day and someone who shits multiple times eat the same thing in a day, and see how much they both shit. I'll do it. Any other volunteers?


The methodology: AssBlaster and I (a 2x/3x daily shitter) will eat the same diet for three days, and see if we crap the same amount.

The first two days are designed to equalize our bowels so we can see for certain if we have the same results from our diet on the third day.

If we do, then we know that crapping capacity is based wholly on what you eat. If we don't, then we've proven that different people are different. Either way, it's jolly good science.

Obvious? Perhaps. Futile? Maybe. But shitting in the name of science is one of the divine callings of the true PoopReporters.

The OFFICIAL diet -- no more changes


DAY ONE
Breakfast Half-cup (4 oz) oatmeal
16 oz Orange Juice
Lunch Wendy's Mandarin Chicken Salad
16 oz water
Dinner One cup pasta w/ Ragu Marinara sauce
2 slices bread
Banana
Snacks Snickers Bar
32 oz water (during the whole day)


DAY TWO
Breakfast Plain bagel and cream-cheese
16 oz Apple Juice
Lunch Subway 6-inch turkey sub
Cup of water (16 oz)
Banana
Dinner Chicken Ceaser Salad (2 cereal-size bowlfuls, w/ Paul Newman Dressing)
2 slices bread
"Drumstick" Ice Cream Cone
16 oz water
Snacks Nature Valley Granola Bar (regular)
32 oz water (during the whole day)


DAY THREE
Breakfast 4 oz oatmeal
16 oz Orange Juice
Lunch Healthy Choice French Bread Pizza
12 oz can Coke Classic
Apple
Dinner Chinese -- Sesame Chicken w/ white rice
Fortune Cookie
16 oz. water
Snacks Nature Valley Granola Bar (regular)
32 oz water (during the whole day)
