I was rummaging in the buffet when I came across my molecular model kits left over from freshman chemistry. I looked up the formula for skatole and made a model of it to put on the toilet tank in the guest bath. The dark blue node is nitrogen, the black are carbon, and light blue are hydrogen. The methyl group conveniently forms a stand for it.

that IS really cool. It would make a good t-shirt indeed, and bathroom wallpaper is a must. But for it to be a funny shirt, it needs a funny line. Is it funny to see the image with the line, "What's that smell?"

There needs to be a subtle allusion to fart humor... otherwise it's just science, and science isn't funny.

Extreme chemistry nerds would love it without a caption, but only extreme chemistry nerds. What I like about not having a caption is that people have to ask you about your shirt. The explanation would be most of the fun! "OH, that? This here? it's the scientific model of what stinks in poop. It's a fart sculpture. Where are you going? Wait! Why are you running away from me? Come back!" heehee.

I like your tagline, and there must surely be others that would work, too.
