How time fucking flies. It's now March 1. <A HREF="http://www.poopreport.com/Peace/">Poop For Peace Day</A> is 45 days away -- April 14, 2006 (because April 15 falls on a Saturday). The next 31 days, I'll be desparately trying to finish my book. Which means I'm not going to have much time to work on publicity.

So I'm going to need everyone's help in getting the word out. There is a press release <A HREF="http://Intellectual/Content/Poopforpeace/press.html">here</A>. Please copy it and email it out to all your local newspapers and radio stations and all your favorite web sites. Alternative newspapers are a better choice than regular newspaper. If you send it to a regular newspaper, try to send it directly to columnists, as opposed to the general mail. <B>Make sure you add a personal note</B> so they know it's coming from a real person.

Web sites, papers, radio stations. Do it now, and then do it a week before the event. Make sure you include the web address: poopreport.com/Peace

I'm not sure if we're going to do the big conference call like we did last year... guess that depends on how many people are interested.

If anyone wants to volunteer to help in any way, please let me know! You can download posters or flyers to pass out. Aside from getting publicity, I don't have too many ideas right now -- I welcome all ideas and all participation.

Thanks to the efforts of Fart Poopie, a link was posted today on userfriendly.org. That's been good for 1500 or so visitors. Yeah... that's what I'm talking about. Keep publicizing poop for peace!

Now: what about the conference call? Do you guys want to do that again this year? If so, someone is going to have to spearhead organizing it. Volunteers?
